Russell W. DeMent III is Granted Fellowship to Litigation Counsel of America

We are pleased to announce that Russell W. DeMent III (Rusty) has been granted Fellowship to the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). He is listed in the Criminal Law Section.

The LCA is an honorary society whose invitation-only membership is limited to just 3,500 Fellows nationwide, representing less than .05% of American lawyers. Prior to being invited into Fellowship, nominees are evaluated for effectiveness, accomplishment in litigation, and ethical reputation. Fewer than 20 criminal lawyers have been granted fellowship into the LCA in North Carolina. “We are proud to associate our firm with Litigation Counsel of America through these fellowships,” says DeMent, the firm’s managing partner. Civil Litigator James Johnson was inducted to the LCA earlier this year.

Rusty is a seasoned criminal trial attorney that has more than two decades of experience in the courtroom. He is recognized as an AV Preeminent Peer Rated Lawyer by Martindale Hubbell, is listed in Best Lawyers in America Criminal Defense General Practice Section as well as the Criminal Defense – DUI/DWI Section, and included in the criminal defense section of Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite and North Carolina Super Lawyers. Rusty is ethical, straightforward, and aggressive in his defense and advocacy of his clients.
